TOUR DESCRIPTION
Starting from Bourg Saint Maurice in the Tarentaise valley in Savoie, this 18km trip is the most intense of the CANORAFTING trip that we offer in the Annecy area and its surroundings.
Punctuated by beautiful sections of class IV rapids, it is reserved for people who have already practiced CANORAFTING.
The first part of the descent (6 km) allows the participants to become familiar with the boats and to learn the techniques of paddling and river reading.
After 1 hour of navigation, the serious stuff begins with Aime rapids section (class IV): a 3 km section, where rapids are continuous and where the slightest error can be punished by a bath in the middle of powerful waves and impressive rollers.
The next section is quieter with the Virgin Gorges section and the Pont Romain, before arriving at Centron rapids (class III/IV) for the final seection of this trip which lasts more than 3 hours

To practice canorafting, it is mandatory to know how to swim.
